Trump & Asim Munir: Tactical Alliance or Nobel Chase?

Asim Munir and Donald Trump

White House has invited Asim Munir and Donald Trump personal have lunch with him. Now let’s discuss what is going on between trump and Asim Munir and what India stans on that, let’s understand it point by point.

Trump, Asim Munir & the Nobel Peace Prize:

When Operation Sindoor was initially paused, that Donald Trump has become after the Nobel Peace Prize and now, because of this, he will be visiting India many times for the sake of the Nobel Peace Prize. Recently Pakistan’s Army General and their Field Marshal, whatever you want to call him, Asim Munir, went to the White House, Donald Trump hosted him, he openly expressed his disagreement with India.

Trump repeated again that he had got the India-Pakistan mediation done and helped them a lot. On the internet, especially on the Indian side, people were making a memes about Asim Munir at the White House. Many memes were actually quite funny.

Is Pakistan Now America’s Tactical Partner?

A larger question is being raised geopolitically—has Donald Trump chosen Pakistan as America’s main geopolitical partner till 2025, as long as he remains the President of the US? Is this a tactical romance? Tactical romance meaning Trump will use Pakistan for a few years, after which the relations might deteriorate. Or has a new inner circle of Trump been formed in which Asim Munir, the real man who runs Pakistan, is included?

It’s interesting that Trump ignored Shahbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif, and started engaging directly with Asim Munir. Now why did Trump suddenly invite Asim Munir to the White House? Many reports are being published regarding this.

Military Bases and Security Promise

Some say Trump wants military bases from Asim Munir. In return, he will offer a security trade deal. Asim will also be assured that if India attacks Pakistan with BrahMos or any other missile, the US will come to Pakistan’s defence and try to ensure Pakistan doesn’t suffer much damage.

But honestly, if you ask me, the main concern of Donald Trump for giving so much respect to Asim Munir—calling him to the White House, feeding him food, etc.—the main issue is the Israel and Iran war.

Pakistan’s Role in Iran-Israel Conflict

Now this is very important to understand india was destroying Pakistan’s air bases. The US was panicking. Now U.S. media like Bloomberg, Washington Post, etc., are writing that Trump needs Asim Munir’s help in the Iran-Israel war. Not that Asim Munir can stop Israel, but if the U.S. has to launch a military attack on Iran, they can get indirect support from Pakistan—mainly intelligence support. That would be great for the U.S., and Pakistan will be rewarded heavily.

History says Pakistan was given billions of dollars for helping the U.S. in Afghanistan. Iran is a bigger case. If Pakistan helps here, the U.S. will reward it treacherously.

The Nuclear Theory and Asim’s Support

A theory presented by a former White House official says that maybe the U.S. and Israel will stop action on Iran if Iran hands over its enriched uranium to Pakistan. Pakistan already has nuclear weapons. That way, Iran would lose its ability to make nuclear weapons. Just a theory—but it shows how closely Trump and Asim Munir have started working.

Asim Munir has even openly said that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. The White House has confirmed that Pakistan’s Asim Munir backs Trump for the Nobel Prize.

Protests and Trump’s Obsession

While this was happening, many Pakistani citizens protested Asim Munir’s U.S. visit—mainly Imran Khan supporters who believe Munir jailed him. Ironically, Trump used to say he had a good friendship with Imran Khan.

But never trust Trump. He can take a full U-turn in a year. Every leader does that, but Trump does it at another level. Now people are asking—can Asim Munir nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize?

They might say Trump saved Pakistan from Modi, stopped a nuclear war—give him the Nobel. And honestly, this can very much happen.

Trump vs Obama: Peace Prize Obsession

Trump has long wanted to compete with Obama, who was President twice and got the Nobel. Trump says if his name was Obama, he’d have received it already. He said the Ethiopian President didn’t deserve it—Trump should’ve received it.

He said, “I brought peace to the Middle East,” talking about the Abraham Accords. But today there’s no peace in the Middle East. Trump just wants that Nobel.

Now with no solution in Ukraine-Russia, Israel-Gaza, or Iran-Israel, Trump might say:

“Asim Munir said I stopped war. I stopped a nuclear war. Give me the Nobel Peace Prize. ” If not, he’ll say it’s all biased.

What Should India Do?

India must constantly improve relations with Israel, who is more stable than the U.S. Trump might call Modi his friend, but behind the scenes, he’s creating tension with India.

From a long-term view, military projects, joint production, Israel should be India’s first choice, especially after this Asim show.

India wants no role in the Israel-Iran conflict. We have said both countries are important. But if Pakistan takes a pro-U.S. approach, the consequences will follow. They helped in Afghanistan, but then faced mass terrorism and chaos. Pakistan paid the price.

no one knows what path Asim Munir is leading Pakistan on. But one thing is certain—there are no free lunches. This lunch Trump hosted for Munir? Its bill will be very big. It may be late—but Pakistan will have to pay it.
